You will own multiple proposals encompassing services in Advanced Power Generation. In this role, you will have the opportunity demonstrate your: Understanding of pursuits and project execution from a background in a previous project execution function (e.g., ENG, PJC, PM, PCR, SUB, CNS, etc.) Advanced understanding of pursuit strategy development and how it relates to successful project execution. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills Familiarity with Miller Heiman/ Korn Ferry sales process and tools and pursuit best practices. Key Responsibilities Responsible for management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with governance. Assigned proposals may range from small to large scope and generally have medium to high-risk profiles. Interfaces directly with and provides support to the sales manager, the project director, and the project manager to set the proposal execution strategy / schedule, assemble proposal response team, and develop the project execution plan and value proposition / win strategies. Ensures conceptual design and business enablement functional teams (estimating, project controls, construction, procurement, subcontracts, LIFTT), as needed for the proposal, are held accountable to provide deliverables in accordance with proposal development schedule. Monitors and manages pursuit team expenditures to align with approved budgets. Participates in cost review and influences team to provide responses with competitive cost and value. Facilitates risk determination / mitigation and leadership approval discussions. Supports negotiation and closure of deals. Facilitates discussion and actions to transition proposal basis information to the project execution team upon contract signature. Management Responsibilities Acts in capacity of a "lead person." Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.
